The devil represents that which does not fit into our homeostatic flow and has been pushed into the shadow. …our fears, attachments, judgments. The devil has been known to go deep and draw up these aspects we hide. We have been taught to fear parts of us, however, if we can meet our deep instinctual self with intention and understanding, we may find liberation from that which we fear and are attached to. By bringing what is hidden to the light, we are allowing ourselves to be free of its grasp, releasing the repressed, oppressed, suppressed emotions that had a grip on us.
